Yard jockey trapped by shipping container toppled by strong winds at Port of Savannah

Yard jockey trapped by shipping container during high winds at the Port of Savannah on Tuesday morning. 

The incident occurred on January 9th at the Port of Savannah in Savannah, Georgia at 10:45 a.m., reported WTOC 11.

According to Fox 28 Savannah, a strong gust of wind during a severe storm blew over the shipping container and knocked it onto a truck driven by a yard jockey, trapping him inside of the truck. 

The Garden City Fire Department responded to the scene and was able to free the driver, who sustained minor injuries. He was then transported to a hospital.
