660 violations discovered during weeklong commercial vehicle and hazmat blitz on Arizona interstates

Arizona troopers uncovered hundreds of violations during a targeted enforcement effort on commercial vehicles hauling hazardous materials.

According to a June 20 statement from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement troopers took part in a a week-long enforcement detail with a focus on Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Violations on I-10, I-17, and I-40.

“Commercial drivers: ensure your rig is safe before hitting the road and watch your speed while traveling,” AZDPS Highway Patrol advised.
