A pickup and semi truck avoid pinballing off of each other and into oncoming traffic (but barely)

A pickup and a semi truck barely avoid smacking into each other and careening into oncoming traffic in this traffic cam. 

In the clip, the tractor trailer can be seen jacknifing off of Interstate 475 and onto the grassy median. A pickup truck then comes barreling into view, veering to the left in an apparent attempt to avoid the skidding semi truck. 

The pickup ends up skidding into the opposite lane of traffic, where an oncoming car is barely able to avoid colliding with it. 

Serious tragedy was narrowly avoided in this video where things could have gone so much worse.
