Arizona troopers find 138 commercial vehicle violations during US-60 operation

Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol conducted a commercial vehicle inspection effort on US-60 this week.

The inspections took place on August 19, 2025, on US-60 between Wickenburg and Mesa, Arizona.

Violation uncovered during the US-60 detail included cracked frames, improper repairs, and missing wheel fasteners, according to AZDPS Highway Patrol.

“Some vehicles were placed out-of-service due to severe safety violations. Many of these could have been avoided by a walk-around inspection prior to daily operations!” troopers said.
