Arizona troopers find 2,229 violations during Brake Safety Week truck inspections

The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol released results from this year’s Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) brake blitz.

This year, CVSA’s Brake Safety Week took place August 24 through August 30 throughout North America.

In Arizona, Highway Patrol State Troopers took part in a statewide detail focused on hazardous violations with an emphasis on brake systems throughout the week.
