Around 100 semi trucks convoy to Catholic Shrine to kick off Christmas season

A convoy of about 100 semi trucks made their way to a Catholic shrine in Illinois over Thanksgiving weekend to kick off the Christmas season. 

The approximately 100 trucks were escorted by the Cook County Sheriff’s Office as they made their way to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in Des Plaines, Illinois on Saturday, November 29th. 

The convoy and shrine pilgrimage was completed during a serious snowstorm. Video of the snowy trek and gathering can be seen below.
