The California Highway Patrol’s Commercial Operations Unit found multiple serious violations on a single truck during a recent operation conducted in Alameda County.
According to CHP’s Golden Gate Division, troopers teamed up with local law enforcement agencies for a detail focusing on commercial vehicle violations, “and it didn’t take long to find this gem.”

From CHP:
“This company had a truck rolling around with 4-year-old registration, no insurance and clearly didn’t feel like maintenance was important either. Of the 10 violations we noted, one was for getting “creative” with their fuel system cap (see photo). We decided it was time to get this truck off the road, so it was impounded for the registration and the driver (who also didn’t think wearing a seatbelt was important) got a ticket to go along with another ticket that was sent to the company.”
