Colorado police say four hour commercial vehicle operation netted 60 violations, two arrests

A recent commercial vehicle enforcement detail in Weld County, Colorado, uncovered dozens of safety violations, police say.

According to a July 10 statement from the Hudson Police Department (HPD), officers teamed up with the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) for a four hour commercial vehicle enforcement detail in Hudson.

• 12 safety and running weigh station citations
• 2 arrests
• 3 state citations
• 3 impounded commercial vehicles
• 7 Level I inspections
• 8 Level II inspections
• 1 Level III inspection
• 60 total violations with 5 trucks put out-of-service for safety violations
