A Happy Valley Police Department (HVPD) officer discovered more than two dozen violations during a recent commercial vehicle inspection.
Earlier this month, a HVPD Traffic Safety Deputy stopped a semi truck traveling along Highway 212 in Happy Valley, Oregon, and performed a commercial vehicle inspection.

The officer found a total of 26 driver and vehicle violations, including:
- Missing brake parts
- Inoperative turn signals
- Expired registration
- Suspended commercial driver’s license (CDL)
As a result of the violations, the truck and driver were placed out-of-service.
The semi truck was impounded “for everyoneās safety,” according to HVPD.
“Keeping dangerous vehicles off the road is just one of the ways Happy Valley Police is looking out for our community,” police said.
