The Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS) issued nearly 150 warnings during a commercial vehicle inspection effort in Fort Worth.
On December 22, 2025, TXDPS-North Texas Region reported results from a commercial vehicle inspection operation that took place at the Texas Motor Speedway located in Fort Worth.

- 13 vehicles out-of-service
- 3 drivers out-of-service
- 147 warnings issued
- 3 citations issued
“During the operation, CVE Troopers located a loaded 18-wheeler operating without functioning trailer brakes. This highlights the critical role CVE Troopers play in identifying unsafe drivers and equipment, thereby helping to prevent crashes and keep our roadways safe,” Texas troopers said.
