This week, Greenwich Police targeted commercial vehicles with a special patrol that netted drivers more than $11,000 in fines.
The commercial vehicle enforcement effort took place on February 19 in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Officers from Greenwich Police partnered with Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles inspectors for a joint agency effort.

Officers made several traffic stops on commercial vehicles and discovered the following violations:
- No Insurance violation
- Driver without a CDL endorsement while Driving a commercial motor vehicle
- Vehicle placed out of service
In total, $11,182 in fines were issued.
