Canadian police found a large number of safety violations during a traffic stop on a pickup truck hauling a loaded trailer.
On April 4, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – West Region took to social media to call out a commercial vehicle driver after discovering 18 violations during a traffic stop in Wellington, Ontario. Violations include load securement issues, tire violations, and brake violations.

2) Person – knowingly operating vehicle – missing emission control equipment
3) Drive commercial motor vehicle with a major defect in it or in drawn vehicle
4) Improperly drive commercial motor vehicle with a minor defect in it or in drawn vehicle
5) Fail to surrender inspection schedule
6) Fail to surrender completed daily inspection report
7-8 ) Insecure load – commercial motor vehicle (two counts)
9) Overweight vehicle – violate permit…kg
10) Operate commercial motor vehicle – no valid CVOR certificate
11) Drive commercial motor vehicle – improper licence
12) Defective braking system – commercial motor vehicle
13) Improper tires – drawn vehicle – commercial motor vehicle
14) No muffler – motor vehicle
15) Improper means of attachment – commercial motor vehicle
16) Operate unsafe combination of vehicles – commercial motor vehicle
17-18 ) Operate vehicle – fail to display inspection sticker or proof (two counts)
OPP says that plates were seized from both truck and trailer.
