Cops issue scam alert for company selling $10K semi trucks

Police in Garden City, Idaho, are warning the public about a trucking equipment sales scam.

On October 27, 2025, the Garden City Police Department (GCPD) issued a scam alert for a “fraudulent business” that claims to be selling trucking equipment out of a location in Garden City, Idaho.

“Garden City Police has been made aware of a fraudulent business attempting to scam customers by selling semi-trucks at $10,000. This business, Truck Trailor & Equipment, has a website that appears legitimate and is making calls to many residents in the Treasure Valley. Their website lists a business address of 318 W 38th St, Garden City, which is not a valid address,” GCPD said.

Police advised anyone contacted by this business to “hang up, block the phone number, and refuse to provide any personal information.”

“Any fraudulent attempts to sell these products should be reported to your local law enforcement agency,” police said.
