New Jersey authorities responded to a crash involving a commercial vehicle and a passenger car that resulted in significant structural damage to a gentlemen’s club over the weekend.
Firefighters responded to a reported crash around 5:30 a.m. on August 2, 2025, in Hampton Borough, New Jersey.
Officials say that a sedan and a semi truck collided on State Route 31 in Hampton Borough.

“The impact caused the tractor trailer to leave the roadway, strike a utility pole—bringing down live wires—and crash into a nearby building, resulting in moderate structural damage,” said South Branch Emergency Services, Inc.
The building struck by the truck was Obsessions Gentlemen’s Club, located at 159 State Route 31.

Firefighters assisted the truck driver with extrication from the vehicle.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was able to self-extricate.
Both the truck driver and motorist were medically assessed at the scene but refused transport to the hospital.

No other injuries were reported.
A Hazmat team responded to the scene to help contain fluid spills.
The incident is under investigation.

Other responding agencies include the New Jersey State Police, the Hampton Fire Co., South Branch Emergency Services, Hunterdon County Paramedics, Hunterdon County Hazmat Team, Hunterdon County Office of Emergency Management, and Hunterdon County Urban Search and Rescue Task Force.
