Dash cam catches semi truck sending up sparks as it grinds against median during crash in Texas

A motorist’s dash cam caught the moment that a semi truck struck a highway median in San Marcos, Texas, on Wednesday.

The crash occurred on northbound I-35 at mile marker 209 in the early morning hours of September 24.

The San Marcos Police Department said that the truck overturned and forced the closure of I-35 for the morning rush hour.

The dash cam video appears to show the truck making a sudden swerve and then striking the center median on the interstate, sending up a shower of sparks.

Police did not report any injuries from the crash.
