Dash cam shows semi’s windshield absolutely obliterated by ice chunk flying off minivan

A sheriff’s office in Kansas shared a trucker’s dash cam video as a reminder of the hazards of driving without clearing your vehicle of ice and snow.

The video was shared by the Chase County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) out of Cottonwood, Kansas, on January 9.

Folks, we can all do a little better at cleaning the snow and ice off of our vehicles before traveling. This video will show you why this is necessary.

The driver of this semi did an incredible job of safely bringing the unit to a stop. Although he had minor cuts from glass and refused transport to the hospital, it could have been so much worse.

Take the extra time and clean off vehicles.

CCSO said that they “would like to talk to the owner of the van.”
