Do you believe that this Old School driver used to make 1,800 miles in a night?

A self-proclaimed ‘Old School’ truck driver says he used to run 1,800 mile nights back before ELDs came onto the scene.  Do you believe him?

In the short video interview, the driver gives some tips on how he used to fool the feds.

“It can be done. Trust and believe,” he said of those long hauls back in the day. In this video, he eventually clarifies that he really means 1,800 miles in 24 hours, not overnight, “back in the early 2000s.”

“A lot of drivers need ELD laws because they try to push it too hard and they don’t need to be. I know how to push, and I get there safely, but I know my limits too,” he says.

Watch the video below and decide for yourself if this old school driver is exaggerating for the sake of the story.
