Driver arrested in connection to shooting another trucker on Missouri Interstate

A truck driver has been arrested in connection to the shooting of another truck driver in Missouri on Monday morning.

The truck driver was arrested on Interstate 55 near Barnhart, Missouri on December 1st. 

According to KSDK 5, police were called to northbound I-55 at Highway M at around 8 a.m. on Monday. Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound. Police say they believe the man is a truck driver shot by another truck driver in an isolated incident. 

One truck driver has been arrested in connection to the shooting. It is still unclear where exactly the shooting occurred. 

Investigation of the incident blocked traffic for about two hours. The semi truck was removed from the scene at about 10 a.m. The incident is still under investigation. No further information has been released.
