DUI driver rammed parked rig so hard it flipped in the Love’s parking lot

A truck driver was arrested for multiple charges after crashing into another semi truck in a Love’s parking lot on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. on February 11th at the Love’s Travel Stop on 22 Road in Grand Junction, Colorado. 

According to ABC 8, 62-year-old Joseph Kelly slammed into another semi truck so hard that it overturned in the Love’s parking lot. 

Both truck drivers were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Information on their injuries has not been released. 

Kelly was arrested on DUI and careless driving charges and is being held in the Mesa County Detention facility.
