An Arizona man has been charged in connection with the death of his employer in Crestwood, Illinois, earlier this month.
On March 15, 2025, Scottsdale resident Josif Suclea, 52, was charged with First Degree Murder in the death of Dane Koletski, according to the Crestwood Police Department (CPD).
Around 4 p.m. on March 5, CPD and firefighters responded to the ATG Truckload facilities located at 13835 S. Kostner in Crestwood for a structure fire.
After the fire was put out, authorities discovered the body of a male on the second floor of the building amid heavy smoke.
The body was identified as Koletski, the CEO of ATG Truckload.
Investigators launched death and arson investigations that they say pointed towards Suclea, who was an employee of Koletski.
Police were able to track Suclea to a truck stop in Holland, Michigan. He was arrested at the truck stop by the Holland Police Department early on March 6.
CPD said the cause of death for Koletski was “homicide resulting from injuries to the victim’s neck caused by a sharp or pointed object.”
Suclea was extradited from Michigan to Illinois on March 14.
