‘Expensive’ semi truck crash leaves Will Rogers Turnpike covered in eggs

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) responded to a costly crash on the Turnpike on Tuesday.

Troopers said that the crash occurred on February 18 on the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44) amid winter weather conditions.

The crash resulted in only minor injuries.

“But the semi was hauling eggs! Expensive cargo right now,” OHP quipped.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority reported crashes on both directions of the Will Rogers Turnpike on Tuesday afternoon near the Oklahoma/Missouri state line.
