The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is responding to a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on I-40 in Henderson County on Monday morning.
The crash was reported around 9 a.m. on September 22, 2025, on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 98.
THP said that the crash involved “oversized load and at least two other CMVs.”
At least one person was killed in the crash.
Troopers said that the crash left a large beam extended over the interstate.
Drivers are warned to expect delays.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, one lane of I-40 east was reopened as of 10:25 a.m.
The crash is under investigation.
