FedEx rig hauling doubles fatally strikes workers picking up cones

A person is dead after a FedEx semi truck hauling double trailers struck workers picking up cones on Monday morning. 

The incident happened on Monday, April 14th on the eastbound side of Route 581 between Exit 3 and 5 in Camp Hill Borough, Pennsylvania at about 4:30 a.m. 

According to WGAL 8, the FedEx tractor trailer drove through a work zone and crashed into a construction vehicle. The crash trapped two people inside of the vehicle. The individuals were working to pick up cones at the time of the crash. 

At least one person was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The second person inside of the vehicle has died of their injuries. 

The cause of the crash has not been released. The accident is still under investigation.
