A former truck driver says he was knocked out cold by the driver of a semi truck in Houston during what appears to be a road age incident late last week.
The incident occurred on Thursday, January 9th at Clay Road and Blalock Road in Houston, Texas as 63-year-old Ibrahim drove home from work.
According to ABC 13, Ibrahim was heading to his home in west Houston when a tractor trailer behind him started swerving and speeding. Ibrahim has over 40 years of experience as a truck driver, so he got out to speak with the driver at the next red light. Before he could even utter a word, Ibrahim says he was knocked out cold by the truck driver in question.
Ibrahim was taken to the hospital after the incident, where he received eight stitches to his head and discovered he had a broken jaw and internal bleeding on his brain.
“I don’t remember anything. My head broke, bleeding on my brain, my jaw broke, I can’t eat,” Ibrahim said. “My eyes broke. You can ask me what happened, I don’t know what happened, I want to ask that driver what happened.”
“He left me on the ground. I not even touch him. I don’t even ask him one question. I need to find out why he do that,” he said. “I don’t know if he hit me with something metal or not.”
Ibrahim says he is unsure if anyone else was inside of the truck at the time of the attack.
The case has since been assigned to the Houston police major assaults unit. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact the Houston police.
No further information on the attack has been released.
