A former employee of a North Carolina-based trucking company is facing multiple charges related to fraudulent use of a company-issued fuel card.
The Warsaw Police Department (WPD) launched an investigation after receiving a complaint about the misuse of a company-issued fuel card by a former employee of Circle T Trucking out of Stratonsburg, North Carolina, at the Sheetz in Warsaw, North Carolina.
WPD investigators identified the suspect as Makinio Wallace.
On November 3, 2025, police obtained warrants for Wallace on the following charges:
- 9 Counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretense (F)
- 9 Counts of Financial Card Fraud (F)
- 1 Count of Financial Card Theft (F)
- 1 Count of Conspiracy to Obtain Property by False Pretense (F)
Wallace is being held without bond due to being out on pre-trial release.
