Four men were recently arrested in connection with a series of cargo thefts, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) out of Georgia.
On August 12, 2025, BCSO reported that the following individuals were arrested and charged in following a months-long cargo theft investigation:

An investigation was launched on December 4, 2024, after a 911 caller reported that two missing semi trailers from Forest Park, Georgia, were showing via GPS to be located in Macon, Georgia.
BCSO found one of the trailers empty with only pallets left behind at Eisenhower Parkway near I-475.
The other trailer was found at the 3100 block of Antioch Road, also empty.
On June 15, 2025, another cargo theft incident was reported. Another trailer, loaded in Atlanta, was now missing after it was parked inside the 3400 block of Napier Avenue on June 13, 2025.
“All trailers that were reported missing were loaded with various merchandise including, flat screen televisions, television wall mounts, mini fridges, sinks, and several other consumable goods,” BCSO said.
As police continued investigating, several people were identified as persons of interest in the cargo thefts.
On the morning of July 21, 2025, Harvey, Barkley, Bigby and Cordy were all apprehended. A search warrant was executed inside the 500 block of Bartlett Street, and officers recovered stolen items, including multiple stolen trailers.
All four individuals were booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, and all were denied bond.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations and other law enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation.
