Four hour El Paso truck blitz uncovers 60 violations, including bad brakes and disregarding weigh station

Police released results from multi-agency commercial vehicle inspection and enforcement effort that took place in El Paso, Texas, earlier this month.

On December 10, 2025, the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) partnered with the Texas Department Of Public Safety (TXDPS) for “Operation Safe Sleigh,” an effort to inspect commercial vehicles to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) safety standards.
