Indiana trooper has commercial vehicle towed after finding 17 violations during inspection

A commercial vehicle was towed on Wednesday after an Indiana State Police (ISP) trooper uncovered a large number of safety issues during an inspection.

On December 17, 2025, ISP Trooper Angermeier stopped and inspected a commercial vehicle on US 41 near Hazelton.

The inspection uncovered 17 violations, according to Sgt. Todd Ringle, Public Information Officer for ISP’s Evansville District.

“Due to no registration and the extreme unsafe condition of the truck, it was towed. The driver received a ticket for the violations,” said Sgt. Ringle.
