The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) named transportation industry companies that earned top honors this year for providing the best workplace opportunities for women workers.
On October 29, 2025, WIT named the recipients of the annual “Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation” awards.
The award, established in 2018, recognizes companies in the transportation industry for fostering the career development of female employees through gender diversity, competitive compensation, flexible hours, and opportunities for career advancement.
“Earning a place on this distinguished list requires companies to embody the values and actions that define true commitment to attracting, retaining and engaging more skilled, qualified women as a core business strategy,” said Brian Everett, publisher of WIT’s magazine Redefining the Road. “The qualification process to this list is rigorous: First, each nomination is carefully reviewed to ensure it meets a minimum threshold of qualifications, and then industry professionals cast their votes to determine the final honorees. Now in its eighth year, this recognition program generated more than 21,000 votes, underscoring the depth of engagement and industry-wide support to advancing women in the trucking industry.
