A man was crushed by an unoccupied rolling rig at a New Jersey rest stop late on Thursday night.
The accident happened on September 25th at about 9 p.m. at the Walt Whitman rest area on the south side of the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County.
According to NJ News, pedestrian Luis Santiesteban was walking between an unoccupied semi truck and an unoccupied pickup truck when the semi truck rolled forward, trapping him between the two vehicles.
The force of the unoccupied rolling rig left Santiesteban with serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries.
No further information on the incident has been released.
