Man held on $50k bond for peeing on truck stop computer server & stealing $2k worth of tools

A man is being held on $50,000 bond after peeing on a truck stop’s computer server and stealing nearly $2,000 worth of tools.

The incident was caught on surveillance camera on June 10th, 2025. The suspect, Stephen Edward Munson, was not identified until recently. Minson was identified using the tattoo on his arm caught on some of the surveillance footage.

According to TriStateAlert, police were called to the TA Travel Center on John Wayne Drive in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania for a reported burglary. Police were notified that an unknown individual had entered a ‘restricted area’ inside of the truck stop, where he urinated on the businesses’ computer servers. The person then entered the maintenance shop of the truck stop and took a large amount of tools from multiple tool boxes. Approximately $1,756 worth of tools were stolen.

Truck stop employees provided footage of an individual parking at the rear of the truck stop before entering the truck stop building. The individual then walked towards the bathrooms, but instead entered the restricted area. The surveillance footage also provided a view of the suspect’s tattoo, and his truck.

Munson was identified in late September. He is being held in Franklin County Jail on $50,000 bail – a total including an unrelated retail theft incident also in the month of June. He is facing charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor theft for the truck stop incident.
