Man in critical condition after falling into tanker lined with pork fat residue

A man is in critical condition after falling into a tanker previously filled with pork fat at a trailer wash facility in Kentucky on Thursday. 

The incident happened in the 1300 block of East Main Street at the Louisville Trailer Wash in Louisville, Kentucky. 

According to WAVE 3, a worker at the trailer wash business fell into the tanker trailer, which was previously filled with pork fat. The fire department was called at 2:08 p.m., and was able to enter the tanker at 2:31 p.m. The worker was pulled from the tanker by 2:52 p.m. 

Emergency crews then performed CPR on the man before he was eventually transported to a nearby hospital, where he is reportedly in critical condition.

The man has only been identified as a worker at the trailer wash. The incident is under investigation. No further information has been released.
