Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol took part in a commercial vehicle inspection effort along I-10 this week.
The “maximum enforcement CMV Detail” took place on October 28, 2025, on I-10 in the San Simone/Bowie area with assistance from one sergeant and five Arizona Highway Patrol State Troopers.

See key results from the I-10 operation below.

“During the detail, [troopers] had the opportunity to talk to San Simon Fire District Chief, who shared a recent close call involving a truck tractor that ignored a cone closure at a collision scene. Thankfully, no one was hurt — but it was a strong reminder of why our Troopers’ commercial vehicle enforcement presence on the road matters,” said AZDPS.
