More than 200 commercial vehicle drivers contacted during 96-hour Ohio Turnpike crackdown

The Ohio State Highway Patrol recently took part in a multiple day commercial vehicle inspection effort along the Ohio Turnpike.

On October 10, 2025, the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission announced results from the “96-Hours 4 Safety Initiative.”

Turnpike officials said that the initiative also afforded troopers the opportunity to educate CMV drivers about safety.
