Motorist dragged under tractor trailer for two miles after swerving to avoid debris in the road

A motorist got stuck underneath a tractor trailer and was dragged for about two miles after swerving to avoid debris in the road went very wrong. 

The crash happened just after 1 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 45 the North Freeway on August 6th. 

According to KHOU 11, the crash started near 610 the North Loop when a motorist in a Lexus swerved to avoid debris in the road. The maneuver sent the motorist skidding under the tractor trailer, where it became stuck. 

The truck driver was unaware of the incident and kept driving. Another motorist realized what was happening and flagged down the truck driver, getting him to pull over near Crosstimbers about two miles from the initial crash. 

No one was hurt in the accident, but the incident did cause the Lexus to catch fire. The fire was put out quickly. It is unclear what debris was in the road. No further information has been released.
