Nagle Companies has acquired another trucking company to create an operation expected to make about $45 million in revenue a year.
Nagle Companies announced the acquisition of Kandel Transport Inc. on August 25th. Both Nagel and Kandel specialize in refrigerated trucking services. The combined fleets make for a company with 115 tractors, 200 trailers, and about $45 million in revenue.
Nagle says the acquisition will provide advantages for both companies, including access to Kandel’s operations within Canada, and increased negotiating power.
“Kandel Transport has built a strong reputation for integrity, safety, and reliability,” said President and CEO Ed Nagle. “We saw early on that our companies shared not only the same values, but also complementary strengths. By joining forces, we’ll be able to provide enhanced resources, upgraded technology, and stronger network opportunities for our customers while supporting the talented team at Kandel.”
“This partnership allows Kandel to remain true to who we are while also giving us access to resources that will strengthen our long-term future,” said Jack Daniels of Kandel Transport. “Our drivers, staff, and customers will benefit from the expanded opportunities, modern technology, and operational expertise that come with being part of the Nagle family.”
