Nevada and California troopers to partner for ‘zero-tolerance’ patrol on I-15

State troopers from Nevada and California are teaming up over the long holiday weekend to target hazardous drivers along I-15.

The patrol will be taking place from Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, November 30 along the I-15 corridor running through Nevada and California.

Troopers from the two states say they have “have joined forces to keep our roads safe for this holiday weekend.”

During the enforcement detail, the I-15 corridor will be “a zero-tolerance area for speed, reckless and impaired driving, distracted driving, and all other hazardous violations,” according to the Nevada State Police (NSP).

Nevada troopers will be enforcing “hazardous driving violations” along I-15 between the Nevada-California state line to St. Rose Parkway.

Troopers are asking drivers to “adhere to speed limits and safe driving practices” while traveling on I-15 over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
