Ohio troopers share dash cam video of pickup’s dangerous off-road school bus pass

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) shared dash cam video of a pickup truck driver’s foolhardy attempt to pass a stopped school bus in Gallipolis.

“Caught on camera: This red truck dangerously passed a stopped school bus while students were crossing the road. Troopers from our Gallipolis Post later located the vehicle and cited the driver,” troopers said.

OSHP is using the video as a reminder to drivers that with school back in session, drivers must stop for school buses when their lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.
