Over 1000 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks recalled because throttle pedal could stick and cause a crash

Published:

Truck maker PACCAR recently issued a recall for certain Kenworth and Peterbilt semi trucks due to a potential throttle pedal issue.

PACCAR will recall certain 2023-2024 Peterbilt and 2023-2024 Kenworth trucks due to crash concern.

According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration documents, the affected trucks “may contain an oversized magnet carrier, slowing the responsiveness or causing the pedal to stick,” which could increase the risk of a crash.

The recall affects a total of 1,101 trucks.
