Over half of inspected commercial vehicles out-of-service during I-10 blitz in Texas

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) released results from a recent commercial vehicle inspection effort targeting trucks traveling on I-10.

The multi-agency inspection effort took place on July 29, 2025, along the I-10 corridor near Katy, Texas, and the Waller County line.

HCSO teamed up with the Katy Police Department and the Waller County Sheriff’s Office for an operation to identify and remove unsafe commercial vehicles from the road.
