PGT acquires 67-year-old Kansas trucking company in Midwest expansion

PGT Trucking has acquired a Kansas trucking company in a recent acquisition as part of a Midwest expansion.

PGT Trucking Inc. announced the acquisition on December 9th in a press release. The Midwest expansion includes Debrick Truck Line Co. in Paola, Kansas. Debrick Truck Line was founded in 1958 by Arnold and Lorene Debrick as a local water hauling business. The trucking company eventually grew to include flatbed, dry van, and oversize load hauling. The company has 30 units, according to the FMCSA.

The Debrick Truck Line terminal will now operate as a PGT terminal, expanding PGT to 35 terminals across the US and Mexico.

“PGT Trucking is proud to work with the Debrick family,” stated Gregg Troian, PGT Trucking President. “Through PGT Paola, we are prepared to offer safe and reliable transportation solutions throughout North America, supporting our customers, drivers and local community.”

“PGT Trucking and Debrick Truck Line share similar history and values,” stated Kevin Debrick, PGT Trucking Paola Terminal Manager. “We are a close-knit organization, and it is important for us to work with a partner who understands our emphasis on family, loyalty, and safety.”
