Police in Glendale, Arizona, say that a Wednesday morning crash involving a tanker truck was caused intentionally by a motorist.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. on February 12 at 57th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale.
Glendale PD Public Information Officer Moroni Mendez told AZ Family that a man driving an SUV collided with a tanker truck hauling oxygen on purpose, and then tried to set the SUV on fire.
The tanker caught fire following the crash.
The SUV driver was involved in an altercation with police at the scene as they tried to arrest him, but he was eventually taken into police custody.
No injuries have been reported.
