A semi truck backed into a warehouse in Chicago on Monday morning, causing a partial roof collapse.
The incident happened on Monday, September 8th on Chicago’s Northwest side in Jefferson Park at Elston Avenue between Leclaire Avenue and Laramie Avenue.
According to ABC 7, a semi truck was backing up to a loading dock when it reversed into the building. The collision caused part of the warehouse roof to collapse.
The building was evacuated as a result of the collision. The Department of Buildings and the Chicago Fire Department are working to remediate the building.
No one was hurt in the accident. No further information has been released.
