Pre-trip report says ‘no issues,’ but CMV inspector finds six defective tires

Canadian cops put the brakes on a commercial vehicle traveling through Ontario after an inspection revealed that several tires were damaged.

On Wednesday, June 25, a commercial vehicle was stopped on Highway 88 at Highway 400 in Bradford, Ontario.

According to OPP’s Highway Safety Division, the “pre-trip report completed by driver indicated “No Issues.” Inspection by Aurora OPP proved otherwise.

Police reporting finding six tires that required replacement before the truck was released.

OPP did not provide information on whether citations or charges were issued.
