Semi truck burns to the ground as driver shops for snacks

A semi truck caught fire outside of a Kwik Trip in Wisconsin on Monday as the driver was inside of the store shopping for snacks. 

The fire happened at about 11:24 a.m. at the Kwik Trip in Tomah, Wisconsin on Monday, June 23rd. 

According to the Tomah Fire Department, the driver parked his tractor trailer and went inside the store, presumably to shop for snacks and possibly use the bathroom. When the driver returned to his truck, he found that it had caught fire and quickly contacted the fire department. 

The fire department was able to contain the fire without anyone getting injured. The cause of the fire is still undetermined. The truck was a total loss. No further information has been released.
