The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) announced that commercial truck parking is closed at a Turner Turnpike service plaza until next year.
Turnpike officials announced that starting Thursday, February 27, all commercial truck parking is closed at the westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike service plaza at Stroud (mile marker 179).
The service plaza will remain closed to semi truck parking until early 2026. Truckers are asked to seek alternate truck parking options.
The truck parking closure is part of a construction and remodeling project at the Stroud service plaza, according to the OTA.
“This features a full reconstruction of the McDonald’s and Loves Travel Stop buildings. Motorists still will be able to access fuel, restrooms and food at the existing Love’s and McDonald’s facilities during construction,” officials said.
