Published:

A semi truck with serious wheel trouble was recently stopped by conservation officers on an Iowa interstate.

According to the Iowa State Patrol Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit (ISP CMVU), a semi truck was stopped on August 6, 2025, by Iowa Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officers for a major equipment defect.

“Even our Iowa Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officers get involved in CMV enforcement from time to time. We thank them for stopping this truck today on I-29 after it was called in for driving down the interstate with a missing set of duals!” state troopers said.

ISP shared photos of the missing duals and the truck leaning heavily towards the passenger side.
