Tennessee DOT cameras catch skidding semi truck forcing second big rig off I-55 into the woods

Traffic cameras captured a two semi truck crash that occurred in the Memphis, Tennessee, area over the weekend.

The crash occurred amid rainy weather conditions around 10:40 a.m. on June 7, 2025.

In the video, you can see a bobtail truck losing control on the wet pavement while traveling on I-55 near Horn Lake. The out-of-control truck collides with a second semi truck, forcing it off of the interstate. The second truck rolls over and comes to rest next to a wooded area off I-55.

Fox 13 reports that one person was hospitalized but that they are expected to be okay.
