A recent commercial vehicle inspection led Tennessee troopers to recover tens of thousands of dollars worth of stolen cargo, police said.
On July 22, 2025, the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s (THP) Nashville Division reported finding $40,000 in stolen cargo during an inspection performed on a box truck in Dickson County, Tennessee.

THP said that the stolen cargo originated from Arkansas and West Tennessee.
After sharing information with the Louisville Metro Police Department, an investigation was launched, and several additional stolen bins on the suspect’s property in Kentucky.
“This successful recovery highlights the importance of interagency collaboration and how routine enforcement can uncover broader criminal activity,” THP said.
