Texas Task Force uncovers 213 commercial vehicle violations, issues 20 out-of-service orders

Troopers with the Texas Highway Patrol recently conducted a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) enforcement operation in response to an uptick in crashes.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Texas Highway Patrol – Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) troopers conducted a CMV Task Force over the Labor Day weekend after a recent increase in crashes involving commercial vehicles in Grayson County.

“CVE Troopers continue to work on identifying dangerous violations in commercial vehicles before they cause serious collisions on Texas roadways, which is vital to keeping Texas roadways safe,” Texas DPS said.
